Environmental Response Team requesting citizen assistance with white or black residues around BBTCA

The Environmental Response Team of Healthy Environments, Toronto Public Health is looking for information from citizens on white residues or black residues in the vicinity of Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Their team is meeting with a member of the Ministry of the Environment this Friday (Feb 14) at BBTCA to investigate both issues.

The Environmental Response Team would appreciate citizens’ input over the next couple of days. Please phone or email any of the following information to Barbara Lachapelle at 416-392-7691 or blachap@toronto.ca: 1) description of the residue, 2) where you have seen it, 3) if it is a single event or a continuous issue, 4) if you reported it, to whom you sent the information and any responses
